“The Hunt Residency has given me a chance to explore having a studio outside my home for the first time. It was extremely beneficial to my practice and my growth as an artist. I learned so much through the mentors and other artists in my cohort. I’m so thankful for the experience.
Sarah Jane Barry, Cohort 9
“It was wonderful to be exposed to the practices of other artists in a community type setting. The programming set up by the residency also exposed me to the artist resources available in WNY. It was a nurturing and encouraging environment to stretch and practice!”
Cassandra Ott, Cohort 2
“The Hunt residency helped me boost my career and foster connections with the larger Buffalo art community. Because of the Hunt residency, I was also granted the opportunity with the post-residency mentorship program that helped further these connections. The residency provided me valuable time and space to create again and develop an artistic practice that I had not had since my time in college. I feel like the Hunt residency was a necessary bridge for my career that helped me transition from feeling lost post-grad and find the path I wanted to be on!”
Emma Stanton, Cohort 4
